pokerwire has Vinnie Vinh at 90,000 all of a sudden, Gavin Griffin at 60,000, and apparently Howard Lederer just won a big pot...

Default Re: WSOP Day 1C: \"Official\" Results, News & Discussion

got up to 21,000 and then got cold decked for the final two levels and ended up at 11475, got a lot of work to do tommarow and no time to sleep. gotta luv day 1c

best hand I had was aces on kings.(only got 4000 outta the guy)

I did see at my table aces go against kings and the kings flop trips and the river comes ace.

I also saw jacks on tens where the tens turn a flush.

money was flying unfortunatly our table chip leader (ended with about 80k) was in the blind battles with me and just never laid off.

gl to all still in and I hope everyone had fun

One more and there goes 10k. He'd make a great interview right now with Card Player.

"How many is that?"

"That's seven including the one when we first came in and you asked Mr. Vernon here whether Barry Manilow knew that he raided his closet."

[ QUOTE ]
Last place is paying 12500. Man it would suck to outlast 5,000 people and play for four days for only 2500.

[/ QUOTE ]
Not as bad as playing for 3.95 days and missing the payout by one place.
