I doubt it is poker tracker on just one site. Also, my wife and a couple of friends all have Empire accounts through an affiliate so they make positive MGR every month and their accounts are fine many using PT and either PV or GT+. My wife even uses the same cable modem IP, but has a different subnet and MAC address for her computer.

I doubt it, I would imagine they match IP and MAC address which unless you are spoofing something should be a unique combination for each machine.

I have one account on Party and one on Empire that is now frozen. I only play Empire during bonuses since Party started the new comp point system. Before that I only played on Empire unless earning a bonus because as bad as I thought their system was at least they had one. I never play both sites at once as I only play up to four tables at a time and can always find enough.

I do play at other sites also but usually play at all of them at least once a month. I play about 8 to 10 thousands hands a month overall so there are plenty to go around.

I have to admit though in the last couple months I havn't played much at Empire or Party because I was finishing earning the leather jacket on Stars.

Put that info into the equation.

Joe

This is part of the problem, they are defining whores based on a criteria that does not take into account variation and evolution in people's play.

What if you are new to poker, learning at .5/1 and collecting bonuses to keep your head above water. They fail to realize that in a couple of months you may move up as you have learned to play. But instead, they just cut you off.

Why don't they contact players and tell them that this is an issue, and let the players adjust their play to at least be revenue neutral to Empire?

Empire is being heavy-handed here, and they don't have to be.

My problem with this entire fiasco is that they are calling it a security issue. What is that? Also, I called them about this security issue and poonjab tells me to call back in an hour? seriously? WTF?

I abused the bonuses at Empire, got my account locked, and am now being lied to. Just tell me I'm a dirty whore and lets move on. Don't feed me some bullshit about security. I'm a big boy, I can stomach the $0.27 that they took from me (assuming I don't get my account back).

Has anyone complained about this to Empire's regulator, the Government of Gibraltar? There is a phone number, postal address, and email address on this page.

Maybe they won't care about it, but maybe they will. If anyone does file a complaint with them, please post their response here.
