So, Absolute Poker closed down 2,000 accounts last night

i got an e-mail saying that i had $10 free waiting for me the next time i logged in. so, i logged in and sure enough my balance was $10. cool, but i don't play absolute any more, and i'm not going to deposit any money there to play at my normal limits.

so i sat down at a $25NL table and went all-in preflop on every hand until my A5 got busted by someone with 33. it was fun...a lot of fun really. everyone was all riled up and pissed off at me for pushing preflop 4 hands in a row. good times. like tapping a beehive or something.

I just started playing there a week ago, and withdrew all my funds 2 days ago(small 25% profit [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]). I have heard so much about there lighting fast payouts I figured I would have the funds that night...nothing for 2 days.
So thanks to whoever gave there phone number - I called them. At first they seemed rather hush hush, but then i asked some questions, and they said it would hit my neteller in under 1 hour. I will report back the results, but After this I mentioned that there were rumors they were closing accounts out in mass. She laughed and said no, that was not true at all. I will let you all know if I get the cash. BTW I have only 1 account, and have no flags for anykind of strange activity. Unless you count calling an all-in from a maniac with an underpair "odd" [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

I just called Absolute to find out why cash outs are delayed. The guy could not tell me exactly why, but hinted that some people took advantage of a promotion a couple of days ago. Because of this, Absolute has had to take extra security measures with cashouts. He told me my money would be in Neteller by tomorrow.
