Default Bravo

Bison, I'm a screenwriter in Hollywood who has read many 100s of scripts in the past few years...I have not seen in any one of them (including some that have gone on to be made into successful films) a bit of dialogue as smart or as funny as what you just wrote...

You're very talented!

Ero, you're so wrong, so immature, so insecure and so blatantly scared of the world at large that I'm no longer laughing at you...I'm actually starting to feel sorry for you.

No, wait...still laughing.

My first reaction to him: "Is this guy for real?"

My second reaction: "He's just here yanking chains"

My third reaction: "OMFG, he's serious"

My most recent reaction: Humor over watching him humping the leg of adulthood.

Actually, to quote a better man than I, "the older I get, the less I seem to know."

And I'm 41

Default being a man

This really isn't the standards to measure manhood to. I think this is more of a who is more mature not more of a man. You also left out an option of what to do...

I would play him at his own game...If another player wants to get into verbal combat the best way to respond is go overboard say something to him that will hit close to home and embarrass him at the table...Fighting is pointless and only shows a persons insecurities and lack of intelligence.

I agree. I don't think I will ever be one to start a physical fight because I'm never in an argument that I can't win (or concede peacefully after realizing a stupid mistake I made). I've never needed to use anything but words.

I've never been in a fight though, and I kinda wanna try it once. (is that bad??)

Probably that's just me being 19. I'll get over it soon enough.

Physical abuse (spitting counts as that) derives a completely different form of punishment as opposed to an opponent sucking out on you and laughing his ass off.

Hardly the right kind of example to compare to.

Eros, if someone hits on my girl and she tells him to bug off or leave her alone and the guy won't take a hint, then I'll gladly take him outside and "talk" it over.

Other than that, going outside for the "talk" is absolutely a childish thing to do. Some things are worth fighting for, but verbal poker abuses need to be solved verbally, not physically.

This post is too ironic too btw. Are Bison and Eros going to take it outside?
