Default Yes, but I\'ll let you off the hook THIS time

since it's the first week... the deadline is an hour before the first Saturday game, if there is one.

(Only a 2+2 Carpal Tunnel would post right below the "Now closed" warning and then ask if they missed the deadline...)

The Cinncinati Bungles, eh?

[ QUOTE ]
$400 Packers +3 (Brett Fabio is dreamy).
$300 Cardinals +10.5 (If pitching holds, they might win it all).
$200 Titans -3 (Something about a Fin back, can't remember).
$100 Colts +3.5 (I really like this team in meaningless games).

[/ QUOTE ]

Dear Sir. I notice you are 3-0. I'm very interested in your ideas. Please add me to your mailing list.

Ahem, I'm 4-0. Just wanted to point that out. Not that I'm drawing attention to my 4-0 record, that would be a little crass to point out how I'm 4-0 and most people are not, but I am 4-0, and thought that I might be more worthy of your worship and devotion.

...because I'm 4-0.

It was $330 my way, $270 your way (with 10% vig) wasn't it?

Guess it's good that we're doing it the old way, eh?

And are you saying you never bet games at different levels in the same week? Don't you risk having your profits eaten up by the vig a little stronger than way?

All I can say is "WOOOOOOOOOOO!" (this assumes that the Pack holds on, but I'd rather watch the A's)

Default Re: \"I think that summary post is a great idea, btw\"

Some Week 1 Stats:

Top 5 by $$ Wagered:

1) Minnesota ($8,000) ; Win
2) Baltimore ($6,500) ; Loss (Pasting!)
3) Tennessee ($5,500) ; Win
4) Seattle ($4,600) ; Win
5) Kansas City($3,600) ; Loss

3-2.

Only 1 person picked Cleveland (at $300, even). 2 picked Denver, 3 people picked Oakland (2 at $400!).

I *think* we had 62 entries (there were 248 total picks by my tally, 4 per person). Most picked was Minnesota at 28 (the top 5 was the same as total $$).

Teams that were picked (# of times picked, not $$) by

~20% or more of us (12+): 4-2
~33% or more of us (20+): 2-1

Not that it matters, but I went 3-1 but lost the $400 Baltimore debacle.
