Bob,

I've dealt a couple of times at the end of these.

If you can get your chip count in real $, then you've done great. Assuming between 2k-7k chip count in front of me, I'd take 500 less to give my opp the seat. So if I have 2.5k chips, i'll let him win for $2k. At least that's my rule of thumb.

Asfor the 1k for 2nd, ideally I'd like to make that deal when I'm chipleader and its 3 or 4-handed. (hoping the smaller stacks play out against each other, so I can accumulate more easily.). Whether they fall for that is a different story.
