very few people expect me to see big blockbusters, so those are out...hmmmm...

probably Schindler's List. no reason, just haven't gotten around to it.

I opened this thread and actually said "Wow" but it was only because I saw the list first and was actually shocked you had good taste in movies. Then I read the rest of your post and it all made more sense

True, its possible you still have good taste in movies, in which case I would be shocked. Hence why I was shocked when I read that list, because if those were movies you went "Wow" to, then IMO youd have good taste in movies.

I am shocked that people, quite often, have not seen it.
If not, it should be on your list as well.

1.Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas (just watched it last week) very good movie
2. Citizen Kane
3. almost all of the pre 1987 war movies in "greatest war movie of all time" thread.
4. Mulholland Drive
5. Taxi Driver
6. Mystic River
7. Amelie
8. LA Confidential

Movies I strongly recommend for the no so famous/cult/indie type films: (beating a dead horse here)

1. Memento
2. The Machinist
3. Trainspotting..big hit, freakin great.
4. Requiem For A Dream
