Re: WCOOP #5 thread
UTG raised from 100 to 200, there was 2 cold callers, and I had QQ in MP... I was trying to figure what to raise to and I had just decided on a number, and then my timer expired and it FOLDED ME!!!
I thought the time bank automatically kicked in (it used to) but I guess it doesnt anymore.... Anyway, the flop comes and it's QTx!!! I'm such an idiot!!!! |

Re: WCOOP #5 thread
Went out in 1139th place.
With about T2010, I called a $200 raise pre-flop with Q-10. Raiser was very a loose player who seemed to be raising with anything. Had made bigger raise previously with A-Q. Flop came A-Q-10. Pre-flop raiser went all-in. (He had done this a few times earlier on the flop. The first time I gave him the benefit of the doubt and actually folded pocket aces.) Took a stand and went all-in with 2nd and 3rd pair. Pre-flop raiser had pocket 10s (he made the set). No queen on turn or river. Am now relegated to railbird status. I guess there is always next week. If any of you "early exiters" are looking for a silver lining, if you finnished better than 1185th, you can take pride in knowing you outlasted WSOP champ Tom McEvoy, who exited in 1186 place. Sad when one has to look so hard to find a silver lining. Good luck everyone. Hope to see some friendly names in the money. |

2nd Break
Staying ahead stealing blinds and firing out at flops HU when I miss and taking some down. My one big hand was when it was folded to me in SB with T9o. I complete, BB checks and flop comes T92, 2 spades. I check raise and he reraises me +1000. I push, having him slightly covered. He folds and I take down 3600 pot.
Made one big laydown. UTG makes min raise at 100/50 blinds. Two callers and I have QQ in SB. I make it 900 to go an UTG pushes. He has AA/KK or AK and I'm not willing to risk it at this stage. He had plenty of chips to bust me down to 1500. I'm average stack with 4500 at the break. |

We're at the same table! LOL
mo- Can you believe I hit that 2-outer? Wow. And what's up with this uber-tight table? Sheesh. I hate 'em that way. (Not sure why. I usually do very well at tight tables. ) Keep up the good work, modaddy! |

Re: 2nd Break
Good news is I'm still alive without making a hand. Went from 2300 to 3780 on 3 semi-bluffs (all 3 were open ended str draws) and one AK re-raise pre-flop.
Just try to stay alive until the hands ocme I guess. |
