how about you just sit at a no max .25/.5 table on UB, but instead of .25/.5 it's 2.5/5. Just multiply by 10 and expect people to be good for the money that is owed at the end of the session?

i have internet issues right now, but should be up and running on all sites in a few hours and would def enjoy playing 4sure.

the stars 2/4 2kmin/nomax game would be sick if we would could make that happen.

i think that'll be too hard to keep track. not everyone's gonna quit the game at the same time, sorting out who owes who money and how much would be a nightmare, not to mention expecting ppl to make good is asking for a bit of faith.

i do think ub's the best place for the game, though. as mentioned, just play with a mandatory straddle of whatever size. regarding the problem with no table being open, just get a couple guys in there and sit out, each additional 2+2 that gets in from the waitlist sits out too, until the whole table is taken over.

There are only 7 people at the UB .25/50 no max. Just sit in and start, I doubt it will take long for others to leave [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

Even if it has ten on it, just fill up the waiting list with 2+2'ers. Once the mass exodus starts you will sit right in.

sweet. but i do not think stars can handle setting up something like that, and their email earlier in the thread wasn't a good sign.

i think we are going to have to either:
a) commandeer a ub .25-.50 game when it isn't busy.
b) play 1-2 NL at a private party table and drop chips to build stacks
c) play at a less popular cardroom which will require people to make an account there/deposit.

i think option B is a lot more viable than many think (thanks for your input voltron!), but i am up for whatever.
