[ QUOTE ] TECMO SUPER BOWL [/ QUOTE ] Oh, its true. 3 teams to pick from basically NY:Taylor, and their extra point blocking KC:Okoye could run for 500 a game LA:Bo knows and Allen [/ QUOTE ] I played about 10 full seasons of Techmo Bowl as the Patriots (probably the worst team on the game). I made the playoffs each year but only made the Super Bowl three timies. I lost every Super Bowl. I think one year I went 13-3 but lost in the first round of the playoffs. |

Re: The best video game of all time for a console
I can not believe the correct answer has not yet been given.
Final Fantasy III (XI elsewhere) is the sole holder of this crown. Honorable mentions: Graedius III: Life Force Super Baseball Simluator 1.000 Metroid Prime Final Fantasy VII Madden 200X Zelda: A Link to the Past Many others I'm forgetting... |

Re: The best video game of all time for a console
I agree with Tecmo Superbowl. That game rocked. Especially 3. Then you could unlock players and trade and stuff. You weren't gauranteed your trade either, which was cool. Lots of hours blown on this. It was great when you picked the right play and blew everyone off the line like popcorn. Yet i still remember phil simms stroking my ass for an 80 yard run to win. Yeah, THAT phil simms. Go figure. Tampa Bay rocked!
Kind of in the same vein is NCAA2003 football. I liked it better than 2004. We'll see about 2005. I may go back and rebuy 2003 i liked it that much. Non-sports there is only 1 that really dominates my thinking. PIRATES! By far the most replayable game out there. Every game was different. You could get it done in a day. Can't wait for the new one. I've played some great epic fantasy games, but you really can only play them once. b |

MIKE TYSON'S PUNCHOUT!!!!!! Cmon...Don Flamenco, Piston Honda, Glass Joe, Von Kaiser, Golden Tiger, The Sandman, Bald Bull, Hippo, Soda Popinski...that game was tight back in the day! [/ QUOTE ] Oh yeah forgot about that one. Right now, probably couldn't even beat the game, but back in the day, I could beat it and get hit less than 3 total times in the whole game on a regular basis. |

KC and LA are way overrated. SF is the best overall team. Philly has the best QB play. Houston has the best passing attack. NYG has the best defense. Chicago has the best running game. Any of those teams are better than KC and LA imo. |

Super Mario Bros., Zelda, or Metroid for NES. All downhill after that.
