GameTime+ 1.3 now available (heads-up display for PokerTracker)

This is fixed in the new upcoming version. But in 1.3, you can check the "Hide my stats" box in Preferences, this helps.

You can also lower the priority of PokerTracker, since PokerTracker uses 100% CPU for extended periods of time while importing.

Another thing to do is don't auto-rate yourself in PokerTracker, since you usually have so many more hands than anyone else, this slows it down too.

What do you mean by this?? I don't know what 'lower the priority' refers to.

FWIW - I don't seem to suffer with gametime+ on multiple tables even with 4 or 5 going.
I have p-tracker set to import every 2 minutes.
I don't have it import my stats and I also make sure it purges the old HH's into a dummy-file.
Make sure you have this set as well....if p-tracker has to search through 100 different files then it's going to really struggle.

Oh yeah, I don't use the rating-icon thing at all (just haven't toyed around with it yet). Not sure if this is helping me or not.
Just having the numbers (and not some icons that I have to learn) works fine for me.


There are occasional pauses or 'burps', if you will, during some of the imports....but it doesn't seem any different then when I don't have gametime+ running.

If I'm not mistaken he is talking about lowering the priority in the task manager if pokertracker happens to be eating up your cpu power.

Yes, in Task Mgr, on the processes tab, right-click ptrack2.exe, and select Set Priority->Below Normal

You mean when you close the auto-import window have it move all the imported files to some folder? (ie like "processed hand histories" or something?) I did that already.

Also how do you not have it import your stats? Do you mean you don't have it display your stats in the gametime window (the checkbox in the gametime window)?

Anyway the freezing is really becoming an issue, to the point where I came within seconds of losing a $250 pot because of it the other day.... if you time out and are still connected PP folds your hand. I need to get this thing fixed or it's a matter of time before disaster strikes....

I will try the low priority thing, I have a good feeling about that

Microbob- what are your computer specifications? processor, RAM, etc.

I'm wondering if the extra RAM will help with the graphics.

Will there be any support for aligning the stats with UltimateBet mini-tables? If you'd like I would be willing to help code this feature.

Yes that is what he mean, if you check that PT dont have to go thru all your stats every single time... check "hide my stats"

Putting it at import 2 mins instead will improve the situation too, (noones stat differ that much within 1 or 2 minutes really)
