2+2 Business Plan to Counter the Rake Increase

Phase 1: Play poker really slowly, annoying everyone at the table and crippling your hourly rate.
Phase 2: ??????
Phase 3: Profit!

I know it is legitimate - a bit dirty not telling their customers about their new prices though, don't you think? - sitting out at the tables to pay less rake is legitimate too.

Caveat emptor. Being sneaky about it doesn't make me like them anymore, but whatever.

Blocking tables to prevent people from playing is not legitimate. Like I said, look up civil conspiracy and tortious interference. What you're talking about is illegal in most states.

This is hilarious. Imagine a rehab clinic being sued by a drug syndicate for interfering with their business.

You live in fantasyland.

Now feel a knot down in my pants
While you breakin me off with a lap dance
Said it's getting me high, it's got me feelin' hazy
I'm goin around your body like a worldwide tour
I'll make ya say toot toot, beep beep
Pull up to my bumper baby

I'm not gonna stop til' you scream my name
And say ooh Kelly you make me holla
Keep on jumpin' like an Impala
You slidin' that sexy ass down the pole like what
What, what, what, what, what
Come and get some of this
R&B thug baby

Not to toot my own horn, but I think there are better ways where an organized group of high volume players can cause positive change for the long term.

Not to say, this plan could not work, I just think it is highly unlikely. If you could get a group of 50-100 high volume players to do this say twice a week, it would result no doubt in a large loss of rake.

Then again the poker site that is the subject of this orgainized disobedience might just decide to make an example of a few of these players by banning them from their site. Don't you think that possibly some of the players that are the victims of the slowdown might complain, then and turn, the site might take action against the slow players?

What would prevent a rival site in trying such a plan to sabatoge a competitor?

I think a site would take strong action against such players
who did attempt this.

This is a horrible idea.

A- it won't work.

B- it's annoying and disrespectful. I'm already sick of the multitabling 6 maxers that slow down the game with their slow acting ways

C- it's cutting into our earn

D- Scrub doesn't like that, and that's enough.

OK, Robin Hood. Good luck in your noble quest to piss everyone off and extort money out of a legitimate business.

I don't know if this has been said or not, but they give you a time limit for a reason. Running that down to 0 before you make every move is not even close to bannable. They put in a timer for a reason.

If they wanted to prevent you from taking so long, they would lessen the allotted time to act.

On that note, I play Full Tilt, and it is my understanding that most if not every other site has $3 max rake on their 6-handed max games. Especially 5/10. QUICHABICHIN.
