So I went to the Palms tonight...
...for the first time in a couple of months. There were FOUR $2-$5 blind no limit games going, and there was a list a mile long. On Tuesday night!
Wow. |

Re: So I went to the Palms tonight...
I had my oil changed across the street from the Palms at 11 a.m. this morning. I walked over to the food court for lunch at Panda Express while I waited. There were two tables going at that early hour on a Tuesday.

Re: So I went to the Palms tonight...
Amazing. Now there's a no limit explosion in the making. What is the buy in and a typical stack for a $2-$5 no limit game?
Ed, I posted a question over in General Gambling about lessons from pro's. Might you address it? No taker's so far, and your insight would be valuable. Thank's for the book, I needed it. |

Re: So I went to the Palms tonight...
in nyc there is a club now that pretty much specializes in NL hold 'em. their NL games far outnumber their limit games.

At the Palms, the buyin is $100-$500, and I'd estimate that the average stack is around $500 or so.. maybe a little more. |
