Default Re: 20-40 second pair vs. passive-meister

Thought process..."There's 2 A's out, he didn't raise PF, he's bluffiing, I have a 9 I raise."

You have the 2+2 overbearing disease that afflicts many aspiring would be top players and posters. It's ridiculous how often plays like this are made and advocated.

"River is rag. UTG+1 checks, I bet, he calls. Figured at this point that I'm likely to be good."

I would've thought I was cooked on the turn. If he had half a brain or didn't consider you to be a LAG or maniac, why would he ch/call the turn and river if he was worried about a 9 or rag?

The real question is what you have done if ch/r'd on the turn? Or river? Hint...overbearing 2+2 default answers is 3 bet.
