Dynasty:

I would like to read your impression and experience: lodging, games, level of challenge, etc.

Thanks ahead!

Default NEPC\'s \'Ambience\'

Been there and done it- cheapest stay is @ Two

Trees Inn; during NEPC, $69 per night. In my experience, it's also the quietest of the three hotels. Will tell you more if you're interested.

Thanks, Perfidious!

I recently moved to New York - Queens, from the Midwest and like to know the comparability between Foxwoods and Atlantic City with the respec to (1) action, (2) distance, (3) cost, and (4) ambiance.

Please advise on this topics if you have tried them both.

Thanks!

Haven't been to AC, but I believe Foxwoods is s bit farther away.On the other hand, the country

setting is much more pleasant- from what I've heard of AC, you'd be well advised not to stray too far from the casinos, especially at night. On other matters, I'm not at all qualified to speak,

though I had some good 10-20 games in both Omaha

hi-lo and hold'em during the World Poker Finals.

You're about equidistant.

Foxwoods has the "ambiance," and some pretty damned good middle limit games. If you go up that way, check out Mohegan Sun as well (it's maybe a 15 minute drive), because some nights, the middle limit action is actually better at Mohegan, inexplicably.

At the Taj, you can count on a wide array of games and limits, but, hell--you're in Atlantic City. Sorta like Detroit with an ocean.

Great if you're "looking for action," but it's the wrong kind of action. Don't bring Nana, unless she's a hooker.
