Re: HELP!! My Stats; What should I do to get better??
[ QUOTE ]
I like blind responding to these to see how well I do. Here goes: Raise preflop more. Steal and defend your blinds more. Edit: I blind reply good. [/ QUOTE ] I've been doing that to stat posts here for months, its about 95% accurate, I do look first at posters that I recognize |

Re: HELP!! My Stats; What should I do to get better??

You play too few hands, you do not raise PF enough, and you do not attempt to steal blinds enough. The starting hands in SSHE are GUIDELINES. It would be helpful to see the rest of your stats. Also, there is a specific thread for this. [/ QUOTE ] What other stats should I post? The known starting hands? Also, what do you mean "there is a specific thread for this"? am i posting in the wrong place? thanks |

EDITED to say, also focus on table selection! Find tables with a lot of loose players. At these tables blind stealing defense is lowered in importance as those situations don't come up as much (you should be stealing/defending when appropriate, but it won't be as big of a leak.) [/ QUOTE ] What's the best method for selecting good tables at 1/2? I never really bother to spend a lot of time on this but I see it listed as something that's very important over and over. |

Re: HELP!! My Stats; What should I do to get better??
1. more pfr. can't stress this enough. u want to be raising pf about 10-13% of the times.
2. more vpip from the blinds. 3. more steals- conservatively should be around 30%. you can get away with more if your postflop play is sound. 4. given ur other stats, i'd say you're too passive. i'd guess that ur AF is around 1ish. not gonna cut it. bet more. raise more. call less. |

Re: HELP!! My Stats; What should I do to get better??
table selection at lower stakes has a slightly different approach.
instead of looking for tables with bad players, you're looking to see if there are any good players on the table. if there are, avoid it. since there are so many players, i wouldn't think this would be that big of a deal in 1/2. as you move up, it'll become more significant though. |

[/ QUOTE ] I don't spend a ton of time either, but I leave a table quickly if it doesn't look good. If I play on party I play 4 tables, and have 6 more open, my PT/PokerAce will be observing the hands on the other tables so I can put my name on waitlists for juicy looking tables as backups |

You are way too tight, tighter than the guys underwear in your avatar (WTF Is up with that anyway, chng plz). I play a very tight/passive game and I'm around 18/7 VPIP. |
