Re: Sexy?
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] this isn't a sexy. he raised the turn. [/ QUOTE ] So is a sexy where you have the initiative and just give it up for the CR? 'Cause that IS sexy. [/ QUOTE ] yeah you must have the initiative - it's very useful vs. a ~tag who you think is playing wa/wb in position against you, say with a weak pair of aces. so you bet flop, bet turn, then check river, and he thinks you have KK/QQ/whatever and he bets his A5s, then you check raise him with your AK, he pays off and says "idiot." |

Re: Sexy?
if you call a raise on the turn and then you c/r when you improve on the river, i call it the "scribbity"
i call it the "hibbity" if you plan to c/r the river when you call the turn raise (whether the river improves you or not). the hibbity is typically no more valuable than reraising and leading the river - it is simply a move from the bossaggro playbook, which incorporates the additional value of the move which is derived from its capability of inducing tilt in your opponent. |
