I would say if you read his flop check as weak, you should push there. It's already t200 in the pot and you have only t460 - that's not to be sniffed at. I think you're getting a bit greedy in waiting for him to put some chips in on the turn and then pushing, but it's not so bad with that exact card, just a whole lot more of them you won't like or that you'll be pushing the turn with, and he'll have other outs with and call, etc. [/ QUOTE ] I fear a slowplay less on the turn than the flop, and often find a turn bet to be 'safer.' But I do understand your point... On a side note: do people default to betting the flop or turn in blind battle steals? Does your default change if you're the SB? |
