There was no way I was folding against his bet. I'm just worried that I could have given him a massive free card if he checked (I slowplay a bit too much for me and my bankrolls health). Oh, I thought the focus of your question was the push, not the check.
No, I don't much care for the attempt to check-raise here. It's a fairly dry flop, and you are the preflop aggressor. If you check, you have very little reason to believe someone else will bet. I'll just bet myself to be safe, and I suspect checking is an error EV-wise. |
