HU play w/ reversed blinds... strategy changes?
I recently played in a few tournaments at this bar that draw between 40-50 people. At my most recent one, I made it to HU play, but something was different... the dealer had the big blind! I told the dealer that it was supposed to be the other way around, but she insisted that the bar had always done it that way. I ended up winning by smoothcalling a PFR with a beast, but that's not the point of this post.
What kinds of strategy changes are necessary for this blind structure? Harrington says you always have the odds to call from the small blind in HU play, but I don't think that remains true when the big blind has position on all streets. |

Re: HU play w/ reversed blinds... strategy changes?
Just like party games when they get short. I think I'm missing out on some profitable situations when everyone but the donk leaves and I'm left in a 1/3 blind structure game with the big blind in position... I just don't know how to play it properly.
