HU: is it even worth betting out?
Hero is in the SB and is dealt A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
3 folds, MP3 limps, CO folds, Button calls, Hero raises, BB folds, 2 calls. Flop: Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Hero checks, MP3 bets, Button calls, Hero raises, 2 calls. Turn: J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Hero bets, MP3 folds, Button calls. River: 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Hero bets, Button raises, Hero calls. Button turns over Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] I am not that angry over the river card as I beat that player in the long run. My question centers around the fact that I had put him on a weak Q after the flop, so was it even worth me leading out on the river? |

Re: HU: is it even worth betting out?
You win a bet when he calls you one last time w/ Q-2/4/5/6/8+ and lose 2 bets when he raises you when he hits a random 2pair. If you check, he very well may only bet when he hits his 2 pair.

Re: HU: is it even worth betting out?
If your opponent frequently bluffs here you should check. Since you put him on a weak Q betting is correct since he will probably call you.
