I'm a bit freaked here. I went through three PP tourneys (qualifiers), and I 've won a seat in the EWSOP in Vienna in March. Now, here is the dilemma for me..
I would appreciate suggestions as to how I might "study up" for my trip. I really am very nervous. I don't want to go thinking I'm in over my head, or I'll be gone real quick, but on the other hand, I'm more of a "feel" player than a "statistical" player, and I don't think that I have nerves of steel. I would imagine I'll be going up against some fairly significant talent. Suggestions?? Thanks all. |

Play deep stack tournies on Poker Stars and any Live action you can get. Get Caro's Book of Tells too, and finally... the most important thing... ENJOY YOURSELF!!!

I can only echo Jurollo's reply. The most important thing is definately to make sure you enjoy yourself.

Thanks.
I take it "deep stack" is four/five hundred plus entrants? I will enjoy I'm sure! I have played virtually all my on-line poker on Party Poker, and not Pokerstars. Thanks for the suggestions. I may need to take a box of Pampers.... |

Just ordered volume II. I think I'll re-read volume I. It's been awhile.

the deep stack tournaments, run a couple times a day on stars for various small buyins. It's just a really deep structured event, ,5000 chips, 10/20 blinds 30 min. levels.
Definitley good practice. |
