AQ missed flop, hit turn in multi way pot.
I'm sitting down in a .10/.25 game and post the blind from MP. Effective stacks are $50. Villain seems to be a decent sLAG. Table as a whole is very loose..we've already had a few 9 handed family pots.
I get dealt AQo UTG calls. UTG+1 calls. Folds. I raise to $2.5 trying to isolate the early limpers. CO calls. Button calls. UTG folds. UTG+1 calls. Flop misses me completely. T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] UTG checks. I check. Checks around. Turn is the Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. ($10 in the pot) UTG checks. I bet $7.50. CO calls. Button folds. UTG checks. River is a blank 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. ($25 in pot) I try to block for $10. Villain has me covered and pushes, I have $30 left. I'm thinking I'm either up against a monster (probably KJ) or a missed draw/air...I don't think villain would make this raise with a pair type hand that has showdown value, I sometimes make bad calls in big pots...should I? |
