Re: 25K party points in a week possible?
[ QUOTE ]
Those are all bonus points folks. The promo is for the FIRST 30 people to accumulate 25K points. I think that 10 tabling 5/10 22 hours a day should do it. This promo blows unless you are willing to play all day every day for 7 days straight. [/ QUOTE ] A gold player at 5/10 6max makes 24 regular party points/20 hands. Since 75% of hands are raked at 5/10 6max, that is essentially just under 1 party point per hand. So ~27,000 hands, which is 77 hours 4 tabling or 33 hours 8 tabling. Double the figures for a blue member. 10/20 6max is even easier. 36 party points / 20 raked hands for a gold member. Since 80% of hands are raked, that is around 1.44 party points per hand, or about 17k total hands. 47 hours 4-tabling or 23.5 hours 8-tabling. Double the figures for blue members. |

Re: 25K party points in a week possible?
Bonus points don't help you. You need regular points (earned ONLY for play time)

Re: 25K party points in a week possible?
[ QUOTE ]
Does anybody know how I can make 25K party points in one week? The reason I ask is because, as I'm sure some of you know, party has a promotion for VIP players that if you gain 25K in party points between dec 24 and Jan 3, you can buy a cruise package for 50K party points. Any advice? How much do I need to play or deposit and at what limits and for how long? Do we get points for just depositing? [/ QUOTE ] I may sound like a [censored] for saying this, but I believe it to be 100% accurate. If you aren't smart/motivated enough to gather this information on your own, then there is no way that you are smart/motivated enough to multitable at the level and duration required to win the cruise. |

Re: 25K party points in a week possible?
Bonus points don't count guys. You will need to be multi-tabling 5/10 and up to have a chance at this. Remember it is the 1st 30 only.

[ QUOTE ] 23.5 hours 8-tabling [/ QUOTE ] Whats the odds on this promotion being complete the first day? [/ QUOTE ] I'd say somewhere around 0. In fact, I think a better question would be will 30 people manage to get 25K regular points in a week or will party be doing this promotion again next month with the leftover seats? |

8 table 200+12 SNGs? and throw in occasional step 5 tourney? [/ QUOTE ] I am not even in the VIP Club or at Silver/Gold level, but I can help with the math on that thought above... A Gold level VIP member doing "only SnG's" would have to: 10-table 200+12 SnG's (earning 60PP per SnG as Gold; $12 fee is 30PP for Blue) That amounts to 600PP per round, assuming average of 60 mins per SnG, that's 41.66 hours non-stop, FYI. So, yeah, if someone has a few Step 5 entries to play, that can speed things "somewhat". Looks like I agree with pokergrader & Sniper that multi-tabling 10/20 LHE 6-max (if only to play more hands than 10-max) as a current Gold member is the ticket! * CalvinTy |
