I see nothing wrong with the flop and turn play. Without knowing what he has it's .5BB better than putting him into calldown mode by 3-betting the flop, something that may or may not happen.

However after he donks the river, I don't think a raise is worth it here, he's going to have some random 2-pair often enough that this won't be profitable. This is just a gut feeling though, I have no math to back it up.

based on your read I guess this looks perfect. But i would almost always 3 bet the flop.

I raise the turn as it looks like picked-up clubs.

River then I usually jsut call.

do we 3-bet the flop because raising the turn after raising the flop looks like a monster and he may not call down, but he would call down if we 3-bet the flop?

Why is 3-betting the flop better than waiting till the turn to put another raise in?

Against this opponent, river is correct. I've gotten in the habit of three betting these flops though against LAGs. I think it works out a lot better if u play hands very fast.
