Dual monitor trouble
I have two 2001fps hooked up to one computer. I had it hooked up fine in my dorm and just came home for break. While trying to set everything up I encountered a problem. I plugged both monitors power cords in and connected both to the computer. When I booted up my computer, only the primary connection works while the secondary one just came up as a black screen.
Next I hit right clicked and went to properties. I then hit extend my desktop to the second monitor and it didn't work. I then tried making the blacked out one my primary monitor and it still didnt work. Now I can't open anything up to try to fix it because anything I open automatically goes to the blacked out monitor where I can't do anything. If anyone has any idea what to do I would appreciate any help. thanks |

Re: Dual monitor trouble
Unhooking the blacked out monitor and rebooting will solve the can't do anything problem, as the desktop will come up on the good monitor.
Then I would hook up the good monitor to both outputs to see if it is the video card, then the bad monitor to both outputs to see what happeneds. DQ |
