PP $200 - T8s flops two pair
From someone with less than 20 VPIP, this flop 3-bet is always a set, right?
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (9 handed) converter UTG+1 ($191) MP1 ($198) MP2 ($272.90) Hero ($364.80) CO ($174.81) Button ($172.55) SB ($185) BB ($233.95) UTG ($255) Preflop: Hero is MP3 with 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $1. <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, MP1 calls $2, MP2 calls $2, Hero calls $2, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, Button calls $2, SB (poster) completes, BB checks. Flop: ($12) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(6 players)</font> <font color="#CC3333">SB bets $8</font>, BB folds, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $30</font>, Button folds, <font color="#CC3333">SB raises to $70</font>, Hero ??? |

Re: PP $200 - T8s flops two pair
Not necessarily...I'd definitely want to know his aggression level overall and his flop aggression level.
If this was 6 max, I'd say the follwing: With top 2, I think your money needs to go in here. Given that he is in the blind, he could have T5o 85o, 76 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] or 8x [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Now, that being said, I don't play full ring games so I'm curious about other replies. |

villain's full stats are 13/3/0 in 55 hands.

villain's full stats are 13/3/0 in 55 hands. [/ QUOTE ] I would be extremely uncomfortable getting my money in against a player with those stats, out of position, not afraid of my raise. It's a fairly safe idea to drop two pair against weak nits who suddenly wake up, without a very good reason not to fold. |

Re: PP $200 - T8s flops two pair
hes SB and 55 hands is nothing, he could easily have some other weird two-pair combo, I get my $ in here.

Re: PP $200 - T8s flops two pair
well, against my better judgement, i called and continued with the hand, getting it all in on the turn. villain had 88.

When a 13/3 guy three bets you, just fold.

Re: PP $200 - T8s flops two pair
just shove it in... u are even money against a big draw and if he has 55 he gets my money. he might have a lower2 pair which many turn cards can scare him (and maybe you) off. so get it in now.
