Not enough, you want to make sure you have everyone, or almost everyone at the table covered.

This is true if they have a "no-cap" policy. If online, 12BB is a good minimum. Here is why.

I raise, sb 3 bets, I cap.

HU to flop I have KK

Flop K J 8

bet, I raise, sb calls

Turn

K J 8 8

sb bets 10, I bet 20, sb 30, I 40, sb 50, I 60, sb 70, I 80, sb 90, I 100, sb calls.

turn 4

I bet, sb calls

I show KK, he mucks.

This player was god awful, he might ahve had AK here, or AA, or just a solitary 8.

Make sure you don't go all in if some retard wants to give you $$$
