Re: ($33) neg ROI help continued: Damn you QuasiFiction!
I would fold to the 150 bet on the flop, with QuasiFiction to act behind me plus all the other callers one of them may have like an 87 or something.

I think you played it fine and don't agree about pre-flop fold. There is a LOT of dead money in that pot and TT is relatively easy to get away from. [/ QUOTE ] Except, of course, that it wasn't. |

[ QUOTE ] I'd fold preflop (seriously). [/ QUOTE ] Do you say this cuz he's multitabling and therefore only raising QQ-AA? [/ QUOTE ] Well that's partly it, but no, I say it because any call and the pot is going to be about 250 and you have 500 behind - you're going to be playing for your stack on the flop. That's a horrible situation to be in with TT. You should take careful note of Irie's post to the AQ hand as this is the situation in reverse. |

ANY overcard, even a J, and I would have folded to any action in a 4-way raised pot. That said, I respect Tigerite a lot and I think I'll take his advice on being less aggressive with TT in the early rounds. I'm losing a lot of SNGs due to early aggression... the moves seem justified and unlucky, but I'll give tightening up a shot and saving my aggression for the middle levels. |

[ QUOTE ] Always? I thought I was tight but never dreamed of folding TT in front of a raiser and a cold caller. When do you fold TT? One raiser? Raiser+caller? Do previous limpers matter too? [/ QUOTE ] Not so much that, look at your stack and the position you will be on the flop, and the fact it's going to be 4 way more than likely at least, and the pot size will mean you are basically pot committed for your stack. So, I'd definitely just let this one go, OR push preflop, either are better than calling IMHO. How did you lose 200 chips anyway? [/ QUOTE ] Quasi's raise to 65 means AA-QQ or AK. I would fold preflop or play it for set value (it will be paid off against his range). |

CGKVR folds. Lillschalk folds. danmanbaby folds. CardKeene folds. stockmaster2 folds. QuasiFiction calls [5]. soma71 raises [60]. Bazuulbazuul raises [185]. QuasiFiction will be using his time bank for this hand. QuasiFiction folds. soma71 is all-In. Bazuulbazuul folds. soma71 does not show cards. soma71 wins 900 chips Was representing a monster limping UTG, then got a bad case of chickenshititis when Soma pushed my RR. Another example of early aggression gone bad. I'm starting to think this may be my leak-du-juor. Edited for spelling. |
