Re: 25/50 HU
The important thing is to always leave yourself an out. I count 2 so put your soul and the lives of your family in the pot too. This isn't a gambling game, luck has nothing to do with it. Why do you think the you see the same guys at the final table of the WSOP every year?

Haha, good work. Here, I thought we'd all seen Rounders, but judging by the replies...

Re: 25/50 HU
[ QUOTE ]
Results? [/ QUOTE ] Well my opponent was definitely representing AA here. So in my mind I had two options. My first option was to believe him and fold. My second option was to not believe him and move in, putting him to the test for all his chips. Despite the fact I was playing slightly out of bankroll I just had a hard time "believing" he had AA here. So, I moved in and he quickly folded despite the fact it was only 5K more to him and the pot was 15K. |

Re: 25/50 HU
OK, yeah so I just saw Rounders. I actually thought this hand took place, now I feel silly.
Edit: I actually thought of this thread right after that scene, and when it clicked I said "Ah [censored]" outloud and laughed. My friends looked at me funny. Life is full of irony. |
