Default Re: AJs flop action?

[ QUOTE ]
if i raise, i make it 140, not 240. vs bad players that call too much, id prefer to make my hand before sticking in huge chunks of my stack, meaning that i dont really feel like playing for my entire 700 dollar stack quite yet (especially since one guy has me covered) if i raise, the reason i do so is because i think i can get a high 1 pair / 2 pair hand to pay me off more when i hit my flush by increasing the pot now rather than later.

it is very likely you are ahead on the flop and will get at least 1 call if you pop it now. this is why i raise vs these guys, not bc i have a huge draw and want folds. if my raise gets called and miss the turn, i check behind and evaluate from there.

This makes sense, but dont you think making NON-Pot sized raises gives away some info?
