really?
villain here is 50/14/3 over only 75 hands. I have seen none of his SD's. Am I this unlucky? What's your play here?

Re: really?
He's got JT or TT.
Edit: ohh his stats, hmm he could have a T but the turn raise is odd so i reckon its better than one pair. Call down and hope the board rivers a .... 5... then pray he held JT. if you 3bet, JT will cap(TT also obviously)... And folding when you have outs blows. Also pot will be bigger on river and we all know folding a big pot sucks too. So i want to see SD and i dont want to get capped so its a call. |

Re: really?
Plan for the river? Pray that a nine of clubs falls, or as one of the other posters says hope for the five. Regardless, I am check/calling because I'll be wondering for at least five minutes about what he had. And for me, thats worth it.

Re: really?
his stats are rather maniac-like.
Yup...he might have you beat. But he could easily have AJ or even AT here with stats like that so call-down. He could even be on a flush draw here (most likely with hearts of course...but maybe As9s and he's ultra-happy about top-pair AND nut-draw or J9 and he's got top-pair and straight-draw). If he has JT then you have outs-a-plenty (9,s 8's, 5's and Q's). Even if he has 97 or 9Q you have outs. |

Re: really?
He has either JT or 99. 6 combos of 99, and 4 combos of JT, but his play is more consistent with JT, so I think it is more likely. You must call the turn because if you arn't ahead, you still have probably 12 outs. On the river, the pot is around 12 BB, so you don't have to be right that often. If you think he will play 99 like this as little as 5% of the time, you have to call the river.
Edit: I guess he could also have QJ, KJ of hearts, or occasionally KQ of hearts, although that is pretty rare. |
