I've heard good things about Phil Gordon's green book of NL. [/ QUOTE ] seconded, an outstanding book and good value i do find the charts at the back confusing and no chart when limpers ahead of you. i find low $$$$$$ no-limit is just overrun with limpers and i want to know how to beat them most efficiently. all his charts are "first-in charts", probably because he's mostly played tough games. BTW, what's the name of his site for the book? hopefully he'll add some limping charts |

Pretty much, when you're on the button and a bunch of limpers, fire at it.

who writes this pot limit and no limit hold em? (and what does everybody else think about this book?)
I hold HoH,super/system1/2, haven't started HoH yet but super/system1/2 NL section is amazing. can't just follow all the play styles but the concepts explained in there defines Brunson as one of the best players ever(in my opinion the best), although he doesn't talk about how he can read all the world class palyers like no other. My question is: any more recommendations besides what's already mentioned? |
