Recomend Some DVDs
My 14 y/o nephew is getting a portable DVD player for Christmas and I want to get him some DVDs to watch on it. I'm looking for some recomendations. Any suggestions.

Ask him?
There's an awful lot of right answers here, but I'd suggest Batman Begins for recently released, or all the Lord of the Rings if you want to splash out. Or take him out, give him a limit to spend to, and let him roam free to pick. |

Re: Recomend Some DVDs
I did ask him, but he's in that stage where he's giving one word answers to questions. Also it's funner for me to post it here and see what some of the answers will be.

Re: Recomend Some DVDs
Have you checked to see if he has an Amazon wishlist?
Can you give us any examples of movies you know he likes? What I'd recommend for someone who likes The Princess Bride, Labyrinth, and The Goonies is different than what I'd recommend based on, say, Die Hard and Terminator... |

Or take him out, give him a limit to spend to, and let him roam free to pick. [/ QUOTE ] exactly, they invented gift cards for a reason, so 14 year old kids dont have to act like they are happy to see some crappy movie an old guy picked out, when they open the package you got them for xmas. |
