Re: SetOverSetOverSetOverSet (LC)
It happens. It is rare and nothing to get concerned about or gun shy with. It is similar to the KK vs. AA situation.

Yea, i thought it was pretty rare. I couldnt actually remember it having happened to me in the last month, but then three times in one day i was kinda like WTF. I was getting paid off on all my hands yesterday so it didnt tilt me or anything i just thought it was pretty crazy.

[/ QUOTE ] People keep saying this is rare -- but I can show you that it happens to me at least 3 times every night in 800 hands. It feels like it happens every time I flop a set for cripes sake. The only hand that is worse for me are boats -- somehow they only win 20% at the river over the last two months. |

Re: SetOverSetOverSetOverSet (LC)
In a 10 handed game where *every player holding a pocket pair stays to see the flop* the probability of set over set is about .006 or 1/170 hands. Holding to the fact that every pp sees the flop, each player should be involved in set-over-set about 1/800, loosing set over set about every 1 in 1,600 hands.
