Re: AQ on a paired board.
What range of hands would he 3 bet here? AA-TT, AK? What is his image of you?

Re: AQ on a paired board.
I play this WA/WB. c/c flop, turn, bet out river.

Re: AQ on a paired board.
yeah my initial plan was to play it WA/WB, but the turn gives me a nice redraw so i thought that might change things

[ QUOTE ]
his image of me...who knows [/ QUOTE ] I only ask because when I first sit down at a table and really catch some cards for a while, I know I may look like a maniac (if I'm not forced to show)--it's fun to look at the pokerace hud pop-up to check your stats at the table. I'm just wondering how likely it would be for a TAG who hadn't played with you before to attempt to isolate you when you have a maniacal appearance. But because there are so many "ifs" in this scenario, it should probably be disregarded! |

Re: AQ on a paired board.
he only has 3 combos that beat the flush AA, AK and a very unlikely KK. i think his pf range and range he bets at this flop are wider than that

Re: AQ on a paired board.
I'd raise the flop. Fold to a 3 bet.
Bet the turn. |

Re: AQ on a paired board.
It might seem weak, but I like check calling the turn. It seems to me that the only hands he'll fold to a bet or checkraise are those that we already have beat.
