By evening out th eplaying field money moves around much more.
Since they take a rake each time it is in their interest for the players to be as equal as possible.

In the ideal world, they would love all the players to be exactly the same level. In that case the money just gets passed around with the rake eventually eating up all the money.

While it is true that the game could tighten, but the advice that calculator gives is simply horrible. No mention of position, pot size etc. You know what they say about a little knowledge.

Besides, fish want action too. If the pots start getting smaller and folded around a lot, they might just pick up and go to poker rooms with more action.
