Party Poker - cashing out via check
I started playing micro stakes on Party this year, intending to turn 50 bucks into 500 in 3 months (personal goal) before realizing I would prefer another site. So after running up to 100 or so, I figured I'd cash out and look for another site. Having deposited with debit, I opted to get a check sent to my parents' house, since my college's mail room is unreliable. I told them it was coming and heard nothing of it (this was a month ago). Recently I was told it never came. Chances are they threw it out, however, and they seem to admit that. So assuming the check is uncashed and floating around somewhere, is Party likely to send it again? Has anyone had this experience?

You're F%^&ED.
I have little reason to believe party will oblige with reasoning, but it's worth a shot. I'd email support...but like I said. ^^ |

Re: Party Poker - cashing out via check
email them and ask if they will cancel payment on the check they sent you, and then credit your account with the money. then get the money in a way in which you can actually recieve it.

Re: Party Poker - cashing out via check
you'll get your money, it'll just take months
they're going to stall waiting for that check not to be cashed for a long, long time and cashout by check is by far the worst and slowest way on party |

Re: Party Poker - cashing out via check
Thanks everyone. I realized the check was a bad way to go about things, but the amount of money was so small that it seemed fine. I am obtaining a Neteller account currently - do they accept debit transactions, or just credit card?

Re: Party Poker - cashing out via check
FWIW, I get all my chasouts from Party via check. One month, I didn't receive my check, so asked them to cancel and reissue it. They did this right away without any charges.
Also, make sure your address on file is the one where you are having the check sent. |
