I figured out the worst way to lose with AA
It's when you open-raise on the sb, and bb doesn't give you any credit for a hand, so he raises you back, and it gets capped pf.
The betting is capped on the flop also, though you finally slow down a bit on the turn, afraid of trips. But trips wasn't the problem. Villain ends up with a backdoor, runner-runner flush, using one of his pocket 6s. |

Re: I figured out the worst way to lose with AA
no I think i have mastered losing with aces I raise preflop from the button 4 people dont beleave me and raise it gets capped then i hit my trips ace on the flop every street get capped and 2 dumbA$$'s make runner runner straights with 9,2 offsuit and split the pot. that seems pretty normal for me
bad beats are what keeps the fish around. Sneakychicken |

Re: I figured out the worst way to lose with AA...
NL tourney late .. second biggest stack against chipleader. Raising preflop with KK and being called by QQ
Flop K93 .. going all in .. Villian calls and hit Q on turn and river for Quads I posted this recently but it deserves another posting .. still makes me smile (allthough I busted out of tourney just outside money due to this hand) |

Re: I figured out the worst way to lose with AA
Not as bad as losing with AA, but I once had a B&M session where I got AA twice and split the pot both times. The first time was a big pot. Lots of raising pre and post flop and I'm positive the villain has KK. Wrong, he's got the other two aces. The second time it ended up with a straight on the board. At least the villain didn't have the top end, so, another split.

Flop A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] You open-push for 10x the pot, Villan calls Turn 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] River 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Villan flips 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] |

Blinds 100-200 (iirc), all three players are roughly 10k deep. UTG makes it 800, hero makes it 2800 on the button with AA, BB moves all-in, UTG calls, hero calls all-in. Hands: BB: KK UTG: KK Button: AA Board: AT5 Q J. -Diplomat |
