Holy crap! Am I the first person in 13 pages to mention Trail of Dead and Death Cab???

Yeah because they were both really underwhelming, no? Same reason I haven't tossed out the new Broken Social Scene.

No is correct. Worlds Apart and Plans are the best albums of each respective band's career.

In Your Opinion...

Source Tags and Codes is ridiculous. And I can't get behind Death Cab...all their albums sound that same, but mayhaps Plans is really good, I haven't listened to it.

PS: Wouldn't all of the problems raised by music discussions begin to be solved by not making sweeping generalizations and/or declarative statements...

Good luck changing a long, storied history of indie rocker dialogue. Haven't you seen High Fidelity?

I talk about indie music on here because I want people to go out and give it a listen and find stuff that they like.

I listen to indie music 'cause it's the closest thing to great pop music out there.

I also fail to see how indie music can be so unpopular if MTV has a whole station dedicated to it.

Mars Volta - Frances the Mute
Avenged Sevenfold - City of Evil (even though it is their worst album IMO)
Thrice - Vheissu (also their worst album)

Hey, I do appreciate it, even though I bash some of the music. I have found a couple of artists that interested me. I find most of the music to be average, to be honest.
