Seriously, you should be able to play any poker game after reading (and rereading many times) Theory of Poker. That teaches you the way to approach poker decisions.
You can learn the specifics of any game by getting experience at the table. A book on a particular game can give you some helpful starting information (such as suggestions for which starting hands to play and common betting sequences that occur in the game), but that's about it. Reading about poker is good, but thinking about it is much more important. |
