NFL- Last play you need like 60 yards, defense is playing back. You throw to a receiver about 10 yards down the field who catches the ball standing on one foot. While with one foot still in the air he throws the ball down field to another receiver who should be behind the defense. As long as the first receiver doesn't put his second foot down it's not a catch so he can't throw an illegal forward pass. Sure it would be a bitch to do, but it would be legal. [/ QUOTE ] Even if you're correct about the rules (which I seriously doubt), you expect a WR to throw the ball 50 yards while standing on one foot? |

Re: The NBA uber strategy
Yeah, the idea is that it would be ruled more of a "tip" since the first receiver never technically caught the ball with two feet in bounds, never having possesion he can't throw a pass himself. The distance someone could get on a one legged pass is definitely a problem, as would be catching it without putting your other foot down. Maybe you could just throw it say 20 yards to a guy behind the a defensive back. Not near as cool or as effective as a 700 lb goalie in hockey though.

Re: The NBA uber strategy
Why do you need two 7' guys? Just one 7' guy on bottom and one 6' ish guard with hops to get up there. Nobody could stop that combo once set up. Might be a transition defense liability though.
