Re: Intertop Poker
While I would be a bit worried and definitely call them back to make sure the origin of the call, I wouldn't get too upset...just a personal preference, but I appreciate the extra levels of security that some sites are taking.
Its the stolen credit cards and kids playing that generates alot of the "moral" arguments against online poker. If the online sites can find a good way to cut down on this kind of thing, maybe the legislative flap to ban would go away. Coach www.poker-strategy.org |

For future reference...if you get one of these calls...
For future reference...if you get one of these calls...please do what Squiffy said about "sharing" information that they should already have...but also, get the name of the person...and ask them when you can expect "premium" speed on your cashouts....and they should not need ID to allow inter account transfers or delay time either once they have verified a phone and real live person!

Re: Intertop Poker
all party sites do this on occasion.
it's worth putting up with for the bonuses and bad players they supply you with, though just one of those annoyances that stars, paradise and ub don't subject you to. when are the fish going to get sick of the server troubles and jump ship, anyway? |

Re: Intertop Poker
Thanks for all the replies. I did call them and they verified that this is standard procedure in order to prevent any fraud. So all is well and good.
As a side note, I played several hours there today and the players are very soft. Thanks all, TheRake |
