Re: 10/20 Aces
I think you should call here and hope to hit a gutshot, he's probably hoping for the same with a pair + gutshot.

Re: 10/20 Aces
Make it 350 to go PF, if not more. I dont think your PF raise was nearly enough considering someone cold called the original raiser. As for the flop, given your line I think the correct answer is to fold. There are very few hands you beat here and 2.5 to 1 is not nearly enough.

Re: 10/20 Aces

[ QUOTE ]
So if you think he coud have something else just a small % of the time you should call. I would think so. [/ QUOTE ] i started off being not sure this is true. but then i checked and it seems like it is: there's 2810 in the pot, and he has to call 1200 more. that's ~ 2.3:1 odds. you have him as a 3:1 dog to the logical hand range he has. if hes on something else 20% of the time, and would win with that something else only 30% of the time he has it (both assumptions seem reasonable as a starting point), then that means 80% of the time we win 25% of the time (your post - gives us pot equity of 20%), and 20% of the time we win 70% of the time (gives us pot equity of 14%). this would be a total shot of 34%. this would give us the odds to call easily as 2.3 > 64/34. |
