($27) AKo hand
No read on the EP raiser yet. The SB shorty I put on A2C, literally, he's very horrible. EP raiser hesitated a long time before pushing.

GTFO [/ QUOTE ] Or were you looking for thoughtful analysis? You've got two people that aren't afraid of that K, Q board. If you are lucky you have a three way split....whatta the odds of that? |

Re: ($27) AKo hand
I think this might even be a fold preflop (after the re-re-raise). Certainly I can't imagine calling the flop.

Re: ($27) AKo hand
with the types of donk plays i've seen at the 27's, i'm calling this. sb has dead money in there, and you don't have a read on EP. he minraised, so that could mean AA or he's a goofball. i think i'm calling if he's got me beat so be it.

Re: ($27) AKo hand
I'm sorry but what on Earth? Isn't the idea to avoid close gambles (and this surely must be one, seeing as you can't rate to have the best hand now, let alone the river, enough against even just the EP to make this much more than a coinflip) in the beginning stages? Even if you triple up here, does it guarantee you ITM or better? The blinds are 10/20! I think you need to calm down a bit.

Re: ($27) AKo hand
i don't mind taking gambles early. i'll fire up another if i get knocked out. i know this hurts your ROI, but lori tracked taking early coinflips and found it to be higher $/hr when taking early coinflips. so if you don't start up another game when you get knocked out, you should probably pass. but if you'll fire up another, you can take this. i know it's a marginal call, but some of these 27 players are really bad.

Re: ($27) AKo hand
Actually, no, it was never fully completed (the tracking, experiment, whatever you want to call it). It's still pretty debateable which one is better for $/hr, I'd say.

Re: ($27) AKo hand
Though there's a fair chance you're beating the horrible SB, I think you are AT BEST splitting against UTG+1, whom I have trouble putting on anything besides AK/AA-QQ here. It's super rare IMO that he will have re-raised preflop with AhJh/AhTh, & he can't have AQ+flush draw. Muck.
I'd also probably muck preflop against an EP 3-bettor, but I understand calling with the virtually dead money SB is contributing to the pot. |
