3-4 limpers is a raise. IMO, if we're in either of the blinds and it's > 5 limpers I limp

You limp in the BB? Not raising here for set value is a big mistake.

Not raising here for equity value is a big mistake. You are going to flop top pair or better just under 50% of the time. Even if you always folded whenever a Q,K, or A flopped or turned, you'd make money raising regardless of the number of people in the hand. With > 5 it's a substantial mistake to just call.
