Post hands. there are many circumstance when getting the nuts guarantees you make very little. Remember - you win your biggest pots with hands that are only slightly better than your opponents' hands.

ahhh correct, come to think of my biggest wins have somtimes been from average hands.

[/ QUOTE ] Without seeing some hands, it's hard to know, but you also have to consider that by tightening up, you're going to be saving a lot of small bets pre-flop on hands that have little chance to win. That by itself should raise your win rate considerably. Check the Beginner FAQ for a list of resources to help you improve your play.
