First post here. I'm trying to improve my MTT game. This is with about 100 players left. I win this and I am chip leader. Call? Easy push?

Clearly the villain called your raise with 64. Fold.
Seriously, if he had 77 or sucked out, that's either bad luck or a bad beat. Of course you're going to felt here. |

Ok. Better question would be how would you have played this hand? Bet more preflop? Bet more on the flop? I will post the results after a few more comments/suggestions.

you played it well so far. after getting raised on the flop move in, no free cards here. if you get beat so be it.

think the way you played it was pretty close to perfect IMO. Don't be too results oriented thinking. He thought you were stealing blinds and called with a 4 6 or 2 diamonds and rivered the flush. Pushing was the right move.

In the SB I always raise more than 3BB pre-flop, because I'll be OOP for the rest of the hand, and that sucks. In this case, you also don't much want a flop simply because it will probably include overcards.
On the flop: Yahtzee! I agree betting out is right. It's usually right. The min-raise I see as a weak bet. He's drawing, or thinks you missed the flop, or both. With a diamond and str8 draws on the table, it's time to shut this down. After his min-reraise there's roughly 70k in the middle. With 130k left behind, you can't make any raise except a push. (Any real reraise would have to be to t70k, but at but then you're left with only t60k and t140k pot, which is no good.) Push. |

He thinks for a while and ends up calling. I think because of my weak bet after the flop he took it as a steal. I'm thinking a bigger bet might have taken it without a reraise.

You got your money in as a 93% favorite, you made a good play, over 9 times out of 10 you're going to double up there. What if you went all in preflop with AA and he called with 72 offsuit? Well he has a better chance of winning that hand than he does this hand. Good play, unlucky result.
