Not any notable reads, your average loose table... Preflop: Hero is SB with T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. I'm assuming the call was the right move, not a reraise with TT in the SB? Was check raising alright here or should I have bet out because of the possible flush/ straight draw? Re: TT five seeing flop with a preflop raise...
I'd probably RR pf unless UTG+2 is a real rock or something. I like check raising the flop if your pretty sure he will bet, because it gives you a chance to R and protect your hand. I don't like the turn check raise. I think it gets checked through here wayy to often.

looks good, looks like UTG+2 had a busted draw. i'm not sure what would call you on the river though that you beat.

Re: TT five seeing flop with a preflop raise...
I do agree with the turn CR, I was lucky someone bet and I didnt give a free card to the flush/straight...

Re: TT five seeing flop with a preflop raise...
i actually find most people chase their 4-card draws all the way until the river, so i'd expect a turn bet from an aggressive player.

Re: TT five seeing flop with a preflop raise...
Dude, c/r raise the river!!! Trifecta!!!
No, bet out the turn. Although you snagged some bets this hand, usually you'll get it checked straight through, which is a Huge mistake when holding top set. |

I would 3 bet pf and lead the flop.

Re: TT five seeing flop with a preflop raise...
Check raising the flop only gives reduced odds to one player (I'm assuming you're trying to protect). Bet out and see where you stand.
Do not risk having it checked through on the turn. You improved, but you're still vulnerable to flush and straight draws - make them pay to see the river. It's not likely that UTG is betting on the turn if he holds UI overs. |
