Re: Your Ideal Life
What if what you found out about the afterlife made all that stuff a no-go?

What if what you found out about the afterlife made all that stuff a no-go? [/ QUOTE ] Then I'd do whatever was neccessary (live like a monk, etc.) If I knew what was going to happen after I died, I would have no problem living like that. |

Re: Your Ideal Life
i would just want to be insanely lucky.
i don't have a master plan for my life, nor do i think i would want one. i would just hope that [censored] wouldn't go insanely wrong, but rather insanely right. maybe win the mega millions, maybe have an insanely hot girl way out of my league come up to me and ask to [censored] her right then and there, you know, stuff that wouldn't happen in real life unless you were insanely lucky. |

Re: Your Ideal Life
Yours is pretty close to mine. I don't think I'll be happy unless I become a Tibetan monk.

I could dig it, aside from all the sour yak milk and the genocide.

Re: Your Ideal Life
I'd like to continue in social work but become fabulously wealthy by some freak occurence (like lotto, or winning the WSOP, etc). That way I could live comfortably, be a philanthropist and handle some of the more administrative levels of social work practice (which I think is done really poorly right now).
I'd probably keep living where I am now for the time being, somewhere in the future I'd like to own a home in the area where I grew up (Chapel Hill NC), somewhere tropical (like the Yucatan or St. John) and somewhere in the middle of nowhere in case the doo-doo hits the proverbial fan. But that would all be gravy. I'd also like to know a bit more about the afterlife, although really I would be satisfied to know that something happens after death without getting into specifics. NT |

Re: Your Ideal Life
I want to hold off on knowing anything more about the afterlife for a while.

The best baseball player in the world, lead guitar for Slayer in the off season.
I'd give my left hand for a simple re-start though |

Re: Your Ideal Life
I would love to be me, right now. But 11 years old. IE., I wish I knew everything I know now, but Im still young, and can re-experience everything I have done, but expertly. By the time I was 25 I would own the world.

I don't think I could go through all that [censored] again.
